Our Team!

  • Valeria Baulina

Valeria is a Hot Pilates and Stretch instructor at Hiatus24 whose journey in movement began in Russia, where she first led stretch and flex classes. It was there that she discovered her love for teaching — and later, through barre, she found her true passion.

With over six years of experience teaching in the United States, Valeria brings depth, precision, and intention to every class she leads. As a former studio owner, she understands that building strength goes beyond the physical — it’s about creating spaces where people feel connected, empowered, and inspired.

Her classes are challenging yet uplifting, thoughtfully programmed, and rooted in strong technique. But what truly defines her is the energy she creates — supportive, motivating, and community-driven.

Valeria is about more than just workouts. She is passionate about building community, hosting workshops, and creating meaningful experiences that extend beyond the mat. In addition to teaching, she also works on the social media for Hiatus24, combining her creativity and marketing expertise to help grow and elevate the brand’s presence.

For Valeria, movement is more than fitness — it’s connection, expression, and a way to bring people together.

  • Patty Ciano - Owner

Emmy Award Winner and Executive Producer and visionary founder behind Hiatus 24, a wellness lifestyle brand dedicated to nourishing the mind, body, and soul. As an Emmy Award Winning Executive Producer of The Doctors, Patty's decade-long immersion in the world of health and wellness ignited a personal transformation. Her journey, overcoming challenges like quitting drinking, smoking, losing weight, and battling breast cancer, inspired the creation of Hiatus24.

After undergoing two total hip replacements, Patty was determined not to let surgery define her limitations. Once she had fully recovered, she realized how much she missed the energy and empowerment of boxing and cardio fitness. Rather than giving it up, she embraced a new challenge—becoming a certified boxing fitness instructor.

Patty went on to create HOT BOX, Hiatus 24's signature high-energy infrared fitness class that combines boxing-inspired cardio, strength training, and conditioning for a fun, empowering, full-body workout that leaves you feeling stronger, more confident, and drenched in sweat.

She also developed HOT SCULPT, an innovative infrared strength class that blends traditional strength training with the best elements of Pilates, barre, functional movement, and athletic conditioning. Designed to build lean muscle, improve balance and mobility, and increase overall strength, HOT SCULPT is challenging, energizing, and accessible to all fitness levels.
